Other activities that the park offers are horseback riding, mountain biking, hunting, and during the winter, cross country skiing.
Purgatory Chasm State Reservation in Sutton offers hikers a unique landscape to traverse. Other activities featured are cross-country skiing during the winter, rock climbing, and various educational programs.
Take the family to the Southwick Zoo in Mendon. There are over 110 animals to see, camel rides, wildlife shows, and holiday events.
